Small, family owned distillery in Woodinville on the cusp of wine country is arguably the most celebrated of Washington distilleries with a double gold for its gin at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and many high profile write-ups for both the Voyager Gin and the Pacifique Absinthe. Owner and master distiller Marc Bernhard started Pacific Distillery after Absinthe became legalized in the United States in 2007.
Tasting & Tours
According to the website, Saturdays from 10am to 3pm are the best time to visit. Email Marc at mbernhard@pacificdistillery.com to verify before making the trip out.
Availability
The Voyager Gin and Pacifique Absinthe seem to be available at every Washington State liquor store. The Gin is also widely available at Seattle's finer bars.
